Southwind Carpet

In 1994, Southwind Building Products, then known as Cherokee Carpet Industries, was established with the goal of creating broadloom carpeting that was both high-quality and reasonably priced. Southwind has always produced its carpets with pride in Dalton, Georgia, from the very beginning of its transformational history. In 1997, Cherokee purchased Southwind Carpets and increased direct sales to retail flooring stores. The Southwind Carpets subsidiary now exclusively serves its wide-ranging U.S. network with everything from home to Main Street commercial carpets.
